Jose Manuel Zacarias, 34, of Edinburg died Friday morning after a crash on Brushline Road, authorities reported.
The Chevrolet 1500 pickup he was driving struck a Chevrolet Tahoe from behind, sending the Tahoe into a canal and causing the pickup to roll over. The female driver of the Tahoe suffered injuries but is expected to recover.
Investigators continue to review the circumstances of the collision.
