Kenzlie Cavasar died Sunday after a head-on collision on Highway 95 in San Bernardino County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred around 12:43 p.m. near the California-Nevada border and involved two vehicles. Authorities said three individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Five injured victims were transported by helicopter to area trauma centers, according to San Bernardino County Fire. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
