
Maddalyn Dailey, 17, was killed Friday night when the Acura she was driving was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro and a Dodge in Victorville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Dailey was a student at Sultana High School.
The crash occurred around 8:34 p.m. after Dailey's Acura entered Ridgecrest Road from Elmwood Drive. The CHP said the Camaro and Dodge were both traveling at excessive speeds.
The impact split the Acura in half, killing Dailey and a passenger inside the vehicle.
The Dodge driver, who has not been identified, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.
The driver of the Camaro fled the scene and remained at large.
