A pedestrian, identified as Malik Wilson, died at the scene after being hit by a vehicle on the southbound 405 Freeway early Saturday morning, officials said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported that Wilson, 29, sustained multiple blunt traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead shortly before 6 a.m. No further information about the events preceding the collision has been released.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal incident.
