Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred shortly after midnight in Desert Hot Springs.
According to authorities, Marc Nolasco, 51, was struck by a vehicle near Pierson Boulevard and Western Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where Nolasco was pronounced dead.
Investigators continue to examine the factors that led to the crash.
