California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of Maria Cervantes Vasquez on March 22.
The incident occurred at the intersection of West Lerdo Highway and Magnolia Avenue, where Vasquez was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle involved in the collision.
Emergency responders transported her to Kern Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
