Authorities are investigating a fatal head-on crash that claimed three lives, including Maria Del Carmen Contreras Albino, on Saturday in Julian.
According to officials, two pickup trucks traveling on State Route 78 collided, causing both vehicles to overturn several times.
Albino, a passenger in one of the trucks, was removed from the wreckage but succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Investigators continue to work to determine the cause of the collision.
