CHP troopers are investigating a fatal semi-truck crash that killed a 19-year-old Monday evening in Fresno.
Authorities said Mattix Salmon was traveling in a pickup truck on Manning Avenue when a tractor-trailer sideswiped the vehicle near Riverside Avenue at approximately 6:30 p.m. The collision caused the pickup to flip several times before coming to rest on its roof.
Salmon died at the scene. CHP officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
