PATERSON, NJ, Nov. 22, 2025 — A 17-year-old was killed late Saturday in a collision involving a moped and a tractor-trailer in Paterson.
According to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, the accident occurred at approximately 11:06 p.m. near the intersection of Cianci and Market streets. The moped rider, identified as Maykell Gonzalez, was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
