Authorities are investigating a fatal accident on Sunday that claimed the life of a semi-truck driver in Nashville. Metro Nashville Police reported that the collision occurred when a Toyota Corolla driven by 18-year-old Mero Abdallah struck a tractor-trailer while entering Interstate 40 West from the Briley Parkway exit ramp.
The impact caused the semi-truck to overturn, killing its 66-year-old California driver at the scene. Police said the investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
