Miguel Ayala and Santiago Madrigal, both 21, died in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 101 near Ventura early Saturday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The two men, residents of Oxnard, were in a Chevy Colorado truck that crashed shortly before 2:30 a.m. near the State Beaches exit. Both were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Authorities have not disclosed who was driving.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
