Nilufar Komilova, 31, died Tuesday after being hit by a DOT dump truck in Kew Gardens, Queens, police said.
The crash occurred around 9 a.m. when the truck attempted a right turn from Metropolitan Avenue onto Lefferts Boulevard. Komilova sustained severe head and torso injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
