A woman died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night at a busy Concord intersection, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Olga Plascencia, 38, was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Cruze when it collided with a Toyota Prius at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Willow Pass Road and Port Chicago Highway. A second person involved in the collision, whose identity has not been released, suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash. The Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional details are expected to be released at a later date.
