Orlin Dariel-Rodriguez and a young child lost their lives in a tragic pedestrian crash Sunday night in Jefferson County.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the victims were struck along Eastern Valley Road at approximately 8 p.m. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and confirmed that both the 33-year-old man and a 3-year-old boy had died from their injuries.
Authorities said the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Officials have not released additional details or announced any charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
