Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that claimed the life of an Apple Valley resident Thursday afternoon in Hesperia.
According to police, Pablo Hermoso, 47, was traveling northbound on Choiceana Avenue at about 1:25 p.m. when his motorcycle collided with an Infiniti sedan at the intersection of Live Oak Street.
The crash left Hermoso and his 44-year-old female passenger with serious injuries. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment, where Hermoso later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Investigators have not disclosed additional details regarding the cause of the crash or whether any citations have been issued.
Authorities continue to gather evidence and review the circumstances surrounding the incident as the investigation remains ongoing.
