Authorities are seeking information as they investigate a fatal two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of an El Cajon man Friday afternoon in San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, Pete Frank, 58, was involved in a crash in the 2000 block of East Mission Bay Drive at approximately 1:34 p.m.
Emergency responders transported Frank to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 2:28 p.m.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the collision. Investigators also have not announced whether any citations or charges are expected as the inquiry remains ongoing.
