Investigators said Luangpraseuth, 64, was hit by a Hyundai Tucson around 1 a.m. while on southbound Highway 41 near Jensen Avenue. Authorities said the SUV was being driven by an 83-year-old individual at the time of the collision.
First responders arrived shortly after the incident was reported, but Luangpraseuth died from injuries suffered in the crash. Officials have not yet announced whether alcohol, speed, or other factors may have contributed to the deadly accident.
