A 42-year-old man was killed following a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard near Convoy Street early Sunday, authorities said.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Rashad Pierce.
Pierce was struck by a vehicle early on July 5. He later died from injuries sustained in the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
