Ricardo Olvera Hernandez, 40, died Monday after a fatal bicycle accident involving a delivery truck in Hemet.
According to the Hemet Police Department, the incident occurred at about 6:50 p.m. at Florida and Hamilton avenues. Hernandez was riding westbound on Florida Avenue when the truck struck him. Emergency responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
The accident is under investigation, with authorities examining potential causes and conditions leading to the fatal collision.
