The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal train crash Wednesday morning that claimed the life of 34-year-old Ricci Sandoval.
Authorities said Sandoval was struck by a Metro A Line train around 6:10 a.m. at the rail crossing near Nadeau Street and Graham Avenue. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances leading to the crash. The investigation continues to determine what factors may have contributed to the tragic accident.
