Authorities are continuing to investigate a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Sunday night along the 210 Freeway in East Pasadena.
Richard Owens, 45, was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes near Madre Street around 9:31 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Following the incident, two white SUVs were found stopped near the off-ramp, including one with visible front-end damage.
Investigators have not determined how many vehicles may have been involved in the crash. The CHP Altadena Area office is overseeing the case.
No further information has been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
