(December 11, 2025) — Robert B. Pearson, 29, of Bonney Lake, died Thursday after his sedan was rear-ended by a semi-truck on State Route 167 in Auburn, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported.
The collision occurred around 7:14 a.m. just south of State Route 18. Preliminary findings show a semi-truck crashed into Pearson’s car, forcing it under a second truck. Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck faces a charge of vehicular homicide as the WSP investigation continues.
