A Poway motorcyclist has died following a collision at a local intersection, officials confirmed.
According to authorities, Robert Niland Sheehan, 63, was involved in a motorcycle crash on Jan. 5 at Twin Peaks Road and Ted Williams Parkway. His motorcycle collided with another vehicle while he was traveling through the intersection.
Sheehan was taken to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment but later died from his injuries.
Officials have not released further details. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
