A tragic pedestrian crash on the northbound 101 Freeway claimed the life of Rosa Castaneda, 65, on Tuesday evening.
According to California Highway Patrol, Castaneda was found deceased around 9:24 p.m. near Santa Monica Boulevard. Officials are investigating the circumstances that led to the deadly collision.
