Authorities are searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 70-year-old pedestrian Sunday evening in Chula Vista.
The collision occurred near the intersection of North Greensview Drive and Park Meadows Road around 5:27 p.m., police said. Ruizhi You was struck by a vehicle that left the scene without stopping.
Emergency responders transported You to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity.
