Deputies are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of Sean Heiderich early Saturday in Jurupa Valley.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Heiderich was hit by a vehicle near Van Buren Boulevard and Jurupa Road. The 22-year-old victim died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Officials said the suspect vehicle is believed to be a sedan that sustained major front-end damage. The driver did not stop following the crash. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities at 951-776-1099.
