Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man in Phelan on Tuesday evening.
According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, Serlo E. Alleyne was struck by a 2020 Ford Fusion on State Route 138 near the Sheep Creek Road off-ramp shortly after 8 p.m. The vehicle sustained major front-end damage, and Alleyne was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation.
