Authorities are investigating a fatal DUI crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian early Sunday in Escambia County.
According to FHP, Sharon Woolfolk was walking along Lillian Highway while pushing an e-bike when she was struck by a sedan that left the roadway.
The driver continued eastbound after the crash but was later found by troopers and taken into custody.
Officials said the suspect faces multiple charges, including DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene. The case remains under investigation.
