Shaundeen Boniface, a 46-year-old resident of Banning, lost her life following a head-on accident Sunday evening in Cabazon, authorities reported.
The California Highway Patrol stated that the crash happened around 9:34 p.m. along Morongo Trail and Seminole Drive. The incident occurred near a commercial area close to the Redlands Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced Boniface deceased at the scene.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
