Los Angeles police are seeking information in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Vermont Square area.
Police said Shiela Johnson, 66, was hit by a silver Honda Odyssey around 6:55 p.m. at the intersection of 45th Place and Western Avenue. The driver fled the scene without stopping.
Johnson later died from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed. Anyone with information is urged to contact the LAPD’s South Traffic Division at 213-677-9791 and ask for Officer Lozada.
