A 31-year-old Lodi woman has died after being struck by a school bus Tuesday morning in Hackensack, authorities said.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, a J&W Financial school bus traveling on West Pleasantview Avenue attempted a left turn at South Summit Avenue around 8:30 a.m. when it hit Tima J. Asp in a crosswalk.
Asp was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition and passed away on Wednesday. The Hackensack Police Department and BCPO are investigating the incident.
