Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a well-known local musician early Sunday in Balboa Park.
Authorities said Timothy Scott Lowman, 51, who performed under the name Low Volts, died after his motorcycle collided with an SUV around 1:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of Pershing Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 2 a.m.
Officials have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
