A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning after being struck by two vehicles on a busy Oxnard roadway.

Police say 33-year-old Tyler Black was walking on Victoria Avenue, just south of Teal Club Road, when he was hit by a Honda Accord and a Ford Raptor pickup truck at around 4:45 a.m. Emergency crews transported Black to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The Oxnard Police Department has not released the names of the drivers involved, and it remains unclear whether either driver will face charges. The crash is still under investigation, and officials have asked anyone with information to come forward.

Victoria Avenue is a heavily traveled corridor in Oxnard, and authorities have not indicated whether roadway conditions, lighting, or speed played a role in the collision.
