The NYPD is investigating a pedestrian collision on Staten Island that resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man.
Officials said Jean Victorin was struck by a 2014 Audi Q5 while crossing S. Avenue near Forest Avenue at about 1:54 p.m. He was transported to Richmond University Hospital in conscious condition but later succumbed to his injuries on January 11.
The 22-year-old driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
