Authorities are investigating a deadly three-vehicle collision in Napa County that left three individuals dead and multiple others injured early Saturday.

CHP officials said the incident occurred on Silverado Trail when a Mitsubishi sedan allegedly driven under the influence by William Dene Brumley struck a BMW SUV before crashing head-on into a Toyota sedan.

Two occupants of the Mitsubishi died, while a passenger in the Toyota later died from injuries sustained in the crash. Several others remain hospitalized with serious injuries.

Brumley was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being treated for injuries and is expected to recover.

Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
