
A San Francisco woman died Friday morning after the stand-up electric scooter she was riding collided with a commercial truck, police said.
The Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Yebin Kim.
According to police, Kim was riding her scooter at the intersection of Powell and Market streets shortly after 8 a.m. when she was struck by the truck. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The truck's driver remained at the scene following the crash, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call San Francisco police at 415-575-4444.
The crash remains under investigation.
