Authorities are investigating the death of a pedestrian struck by an Amtrak train in Glassell Park Wednesday.
The victim, identified as 46-year-old Yexenia Gonzalez, was hit by Pacific Surfliner train 774 near 2705 Media Drive at approximately 11:30 a.m. Gonzalez was pronounced deceased at the scene. The LAPD is actively investigating the incident.
