A woman died Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on the Riverside (91) Freeway, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
The victim was identified as 26-year-old Yolanda Rodriguez, a Riverside resident. Preliminary reports indicate she was struck by a dark-colored SUV at approximately 9:30 p.m. east of Adams Street.
Rodriguez succumbed to her injuries from the crash. Authorities have not released information about the driver or additional circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine what led to the crash.
