Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred Monday evening at a busy Moreno Valley intersection.
Authorities said Yoseph Asfaw, 37, was driving one of two vehicles involved in a collision at Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard around 6 p.m. Both drivers were taken to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment.
The sheriff’s office confirmed that Asfaw died from his injuries. The second driver remains hospitalized in stable condition. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.
