A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train Monday afternoon in Glendale, according to authorities.
The victim, identified as Zaven Abramyan, 68, was walking along the tracks near Grandview Avenue and San Fernando Road when he was hit by an Amtrak train.
Abramyan died at the scene. Officials reported no additional injuries related to the incident.
Investigators are still working to determine why Abramyan was on the tracks. The case remains under review.
