Zih Dao was among three people killed Thursday when a vehicle crashed into a 99 Ranch Market in Westwood, police reported.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:11 p.m. as Dao was inside the grocery store located at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Rochester Avenue. Police said a 92-year-old woman drove her vehicle into the building, striking shoppers and employees.
Dao was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly crash.
